Catherine Sautès-Fridman, professor emeritus University Paris-Cité, PhD on MHC in Nobel laureate Jean Dausset laboratory. INSERM researcher then full professor in 2000. Conducted studies on FcgRs with Wolf Fridman at Institut Curie. Focusing on TME, the group moved to the Cordeliers Research Center (CRC). Became department director in 2006. As president of the European Federation of Immunology Societies she created an EEIG for scientific exchange, promoted the training of young scientists and women’s careers in science. Volunteer researcher, group co-leader with WF at the CRC, still hoping before leaving the stage to discover new mechanisms of resistance to therapies for the benefit of cancer patients.
