Moran Amit is a Surgeon-Scientist in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery and the Department of Genomic Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center, with faculty appointments in the UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He completed his M.D. at Tel Aviv University and earned a Master's degree in Neuroscience from the same institution before pursuing doctoral training at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, where he received his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology in 2016. His clinical training includes residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and fellowship training at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
