Dr. Qingzhong Ren earned his Ph.D. from the Institute of Neuroscience at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, followed by postdoctoral research at the Janelia Research Campus, Howard Hughes Medical Institute. In July 2019, he joined the Allen Institute for Brain Science in Seattle as a scientist. Since joining Cell Press in 2021, Dr. Ren has focused on a diverse range of research areas, including neuroscience, immunology, developmental biology, and emerging fields. His extensive background in these disciplines enables him to effectively support authors and advance the journal's mission of disseminating high-quality scientific research.
