Editor

Andy earned his PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Leicester and conducted postdoctoral research at the MRC-LMS and Imperial College London studying liver diseases and RNA therapeutics. He then pivoted to the world of editorial, first as part of the editorial team at Nature Communications and then as a deputy editor at Advanced Science. Andy takes pride in being a jack of all trades; as a scientist his work spanned from single-molecule studies to in vivo experiments, and as an editor he has handled manuscripts from cell biology up to clinical trials.
