Coco Chu is an Associate Professor of Neuroimmunology at the Institute for Immunology, School of Medicine, Tsinghua University, and Vice Director of the Digestive Diseases Center at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital. Her laboratory investigates the intricate interactions between the microbiota, immune system, and nervous system, aiming to uncover previously unrecognized crosstalk, elucidate underlying molecular mechanisms, and contribute to the development of next-generation preventative, therapeutic, or curative treatment strategies. Dr. Chu has published 25 papers, including research articles in Immunity (2025, last corresponding author), JACI (2024, co-corresponding author), Science Immunology (2021, first author) and Nature (2019, first author, ESI highly cited paper).
