Prof. Asya Rolls is a faculty member in the Department of Life Sciences at Tel Aviv University and a visiting professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Her research explores how the brain regulates the immune system and how mental states influence the body’s capacity to cope with disease. She has received multiple ERC grants (Starting, Consolidator, and Proof of Concept), was elected an EMBO Member in 2024, and was among 40 international researchers selected as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Investigator in collaboration with the Wellcome Trust (2018–2023).
