Alexander Vaughan,Karolinska Institutet Science Park, Sweden

Alexander Vaughan, PhD (Stanford University), is currently Scientific Program Manager for the IARPA MICrONS program at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a multi-site project to map the full connectome of a 1mm3 cube of mouse cortex using MAPseq technologies. In previous work, Dr. Vaughan studied the auditory pathway of Drosophila melanogaster (with Bruce Baker, JRC HHMI), decision-making in mouse and rat (with Adam Kepecs, CSHL). He is also the founder of MapNeuro Inc., a company focused on using high-throughput connectomics and in-situ sequencing to accelerate drug development.
