Speaker

John Speakman is a Professor at the University of Aberdeen and at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology in Shenzhen, Chinese Academy of Sciences in China. He is a foreign member of the US National Academy of Sciences, an academician of the Chinese National Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the UK Royal Society. He is a recent recipient of a Royal Society Wolfson merit award and is a Presidents International Professorial Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been working 75% of full time in China since 2011.
