Judith Nicholson, Scientific editor, Cell Genomics and Consulting editor, Cell
Judith's background is in biochemistry and multi-omics. After completing her PhD on peptide motifs at Edinburgh, she held post-doctoral positions at Macquarie University working on phosphoproteomics and at the University of Oxford focusing on acetylation in cancer. Following a few years in a small biotechnology company developing microfluidic methods for genomics and proteomics, Judith joined Cell Press as an editor at iScience for two years before moving to Cell Genomics. She is enthusiastic about many topics in genomics and genetics, especially interdisciplinary research, technological developments in the field, and synthetic biology.
