Danielle Loughlin

Danielle Loughlin received her PhD from Drexel University College of Medicine, where she studied fibroblast signaling and function during wound healing and scleroderma. She then moved across the river to the University of Pennsylvania as a postdoctoral fellow, investigating the mechanisms by which the tumor microenvironment regulates breast cancer metastasis and radioresistance. She joined Cell Press in 2013, serving as the Editor of Trends in Cell Biology before becoming the Editor of Trends in Cancer in 2020.
