My lab aims to understand how the specific and robust gene expression programs that determine embryonic development are encoded in the genome, and how genomic alterations can contribute to diseases. We particularly focus on the function of distant cis-acting elements and on the role of the spatial organization of the genome in regulating their interactions with their target genes.
