    “Bruce Koppelman did scientific training at Duke University Medical Center, University of California at San Francisco and the former DNAX Research Institute in Palo Alto, California. After working for six years as a Senior Research Scientist in industry, Dr. Koppelman joined the scientific editorial staff at Cell Press where he is currently a Senior editor with Immunity.

Claudia Burrello
  • Claudia Burrello, Editor, Trends in Immunology

    “Claudia Burrello earned her PhD in 2019 at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, where her research focused on how the manipulation of gut microbiota influences both conventional and unconventional T cells in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Following her doctoral studies, she expanded her expertise in cancer immunology at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. As a postdoctoral fellow, she investigated how activation of unconventional T cells can enhance responses to immune checkpoint inhibitors in metastatic breast cancer. Claudia joined Cell Press in 2025 as editor of Trends in Immunology.

Sha Yu
  • Sha Yu, Senior scientific editor, Cell Reports Medicine

    Sha received her PhD in genetics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017. She was selected as a member of the Chinese student delegation to participate in the 64th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting on Physiology or Medicine. Driven by her research interest in the RNA world, she joined Dr. V. Narry Kim’s lab in Seoul National University, where she studied the role of RNA modifications in glioblastoma. She has developed a great interest in the application of basic science into translational research.
